I got to spend the end of 2011 in my hometown, Ojai [pronounced o- hi], CA. Ojai is itsy bitsy with just under 10,000 people and has got to be the most charming place you've ever seen [no bias here]. There are orchards, horse ranches, hiking trails, hot springs, woods... it's a very special place and I feel very lucky to have grown up there.

Can I just say that we Ojai-ans don't all have dead animals on our walls..
